Blitz Chess Tournament #13 (3|0)

This is a 55-minute tournament I competed in on lichess. This tournament was created, and played while broadcasting at . Time controls are set at 3 minutes per player.

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly. Consider subscribing here on YouTube for frequent content, and/or connecting via any or all of the below social medias. Your support is greatly appreciated. Take care, bye. ๐Ÿ˜€

  1. 31:47
    Triggered in 3, 2, 1…
"Why am I being thrown beginner stuff?"

  2. You have the most calming commentary ever, keep up the wonderful streams/screencasts. Also, cool first game! I'll save my second-rate critique for another time haha. Best wishes, Oswald. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. For some reason you had me cracking up on several occasions, Jerry. Nice video! ๐Ÿ‘Œ

  4. I would love to see more Classical tournaments' videos. That'd be really good. Nice channel, fellow, i really enjoy your plays and commentaries.

  5. Vpanda was being sneaky and paused just to not get paired with you ๐Ÿ˜‚

  6. Ooo, the engine-abuser is now infamous!

  7. The game that ended at minute 37 is so funny. Happens to all of us.

  8. (starting at 31:38)
"Look at this. It's like beginner stuff, man. Why is beginner stuff being thrown at me?
He's like 'one move threats… a fork on c7', GET OUT OF MY HOUSE, man!"
    -Jerry (NM), 2017

  9. why dont u analyse games like so vs kramnik , karjakin vs so or games liked that played recently instead of this.

  10. Jerry was hilarious in this one lol so entertaining to watch

  11. pretty sure vpanda64 was cheating, his account is closed now

  12. (50:54) Somehow Jerry didn't see 22…d4, winning a piece. (He also missed 23…d4 and 24…d4.)

  13. Someday it might become a meme to offer draws for no reason. I'll definitely do it if I ever get to play against Jerry ๐Ÿ˜› Every time people offer draws he laughs about it and loses half his time.

  14. One thing I like about your play is that you treat every opponent equal, whether they're 3000 rated, or 1400. You never underestimate, or sandbag and player.

  15. This was a somewhat weird tournament. Jerry was in a weird mood, opponents played weird.
