Blitz Chess Tournament #15 (3|0)

This is a 57-minute tournament I competed in on lichess, namely an Hourly SuperBlitz Arena. This tournament was played while broadcasting at . Time controls are set at 3 minutes per player.

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly. Consider subscribing here on YouTube for frequent content, and/or connecting via any or all of the below social medias. Your support is greatly appreciated. Take care, bye. 😀

  1. FINALLY! Life is sad without Chess Network tournaments!

  2. Guess who's back (back back) back again (gain gain). Jerrys back (back back) tell a friend (friend friend) WELCOME BACK JERRY

  3. 36:10 as soon as white's queen took your bishop leaving the king unprotected you had Qh3#

  4. This weekend Mayweather McGregor vs Game of thrones season finale vs Jerry " where's my time…" Chess network. And the winner by unanimous decision… ? I say Jerry. Comment below

  5. Hi Jerry. @23:53 instead of Kxc7, could black have played b2? Seems the black b pawn would queen..?

  6. Lucky lucky Jerry. @23.52 .. 33 c1xc7 b3 – b2 ! Loving your games and analysis. Best on internet.

  7. Happy to see you again! I started to get worried

  8. When you know the commentator, sometimes no commentary is best commentary^^

  9. At 23:51 actually thaqt exchange is losing. b2 instead of taking the second rook is winning for black

  10. at 11:50 21. Rxe4 is a nice try, if 21…. Rxe4 then 22. Nxf3+ Kf6 23. Bxe4. But actually after 21. Rf8! the knight still can't escape.

  11. Finally. He's back

Lol, I prefer the older ones where he played at the warzones, because he was very enthusiastic back then.

  12. Even w/o the draw, it would've just been 3rd place. What hurts is no berserking and all games going down to the wire.

  13. I hope you are back to your normal routine Jerry, these past 3 weeks were so empty without Chessnetwork videos in my life :)))

  14. Stoked to see another chess network vid! Where/when do you stream?

  15. I checked everyday for a new Chess Network video. Glad to see your back in action!!

  16. 23:52 after white plays Rxc7 the second time isn't b2 winning for black?

  17. 36:13 Qh3 I'm screaming at my monitor omg lawkjeflkasdjfhlawkejfhlsakd

  18. Jerry how do I learn aggressive chess? I know that I need to play aggressive openings but other than that I don't know anything! Please help me on this!

Edit:Also don't get pressured by your fans wanting more videos if your not well!

  19. Jerry we all need more videos! You're such a sensation to the chess and YouTube community! I love your thought process you have literally brought my chess ranking up 300 points in the last month! Thank you!

  20. at 11:58 your opponent had a save.Rxe4 Rxe4 Nxf3+ Kf6 Bxe4 which is clearly winning for him

  21. yooo, I just saw this! yaaaay! these are my favorite tournaments 🙂

  22. At 23:54: if black does not take the rock back and instead plays b2, you'll lose 🙂

  23. Very good. I enjoy with these videos at the same time when I learn with your moves. Thanks!

  24. Very good. I enjoy with these videos at the same time when I learn with your moves. Thanks!

  25. Jerry is great at chess but he is INHUMAN at time burning my god!!!

  26. 22:23. He paused and missed 2 simple better moves. -you was afraid of Nxb2 but the real pain would have been Ne3 forking the rooks. (since you moved your Knight.)

  27. Missed a mate in 1 @36:13. Move 40…… Q h3. Would have saved the stress of 27 moves in 8 secs. I guess it's tough to think of attack when your under pressure in defense with seconds left.

  28. 11:47 Nxd4 puts you up the exchange, and then you can still win back the knight.
