This is a 55-minute tournament I competed in on lichess. This tournament was created, and played while broadcasting at . Time controls are set at 3 minutes per player.
I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly. 33:13 I think the issue with 24. …Ra7 is that white has 25. Rc1, and white wiggles out of it without white having gained much. Can somebody check me on this?
"put a pawn on e5. Game over!" classic Jerry 👍
Some people is so clearly stream-sniping you!
Does Jerry ever monetize his videos? I don't recall ever getting an ad on one of his videos
Sir..would u play jOhn barthalomew sometym..everyone would love to see that… 🤗🤗🤗
Great to be a part of what you do Jerry. ~! i won my first game ~! thank you CN for all you do~! go to CN on Twitch . no matter what..; )
anyone see the jerry face?
During the last game, Jerry said it wouldn't make sense to berserk, but I feel like it would make a lot of sense. Before the game, Jerry said that #1's game looked like a draw, and if he was right, then #1 would get 2 points to get him to 37 total points without fire. If Jerry berserked and won his game, he would get a total of 37 points as well, but would also have the tie-breaker with fire. Not that it mattered in the end since #1 ended up winning his next 2 games, but at the time, it nonetheless made sense to berserk that game.
Gerry, I'll donate $5 if you start using the alpha pieces again.
I miss them 🙁
What happened to Ferrari?
Only a fan of Leela can make a move, pawn e5. Nice Jerry
19:58 Ba6+ looks like the juicyest to me. I don't see anyway for black to save his queen.
I like how Jerry respects all opponents no matter their ELO or time left on the clock. He’s strictly focused on making the best move, and doesn’t get cocky or talk trash.
That third game was painful to watch, you just barely made it out with a win!
14. Ba6+ Kb8 15. Nxd7+ wins the queen
At 36:25 , I personally really appreciate the time you took for the quick note!
At 43:22 there's dxc4 followed by Bxf3. I was really hoping to see that!!
12:35 the issue with Nxe4 is Bb6, then after the queen moves, Nc7+ picks up the rook.
Love the blitz tourneys Jerry. They're instructional and enjoyable. Hope you had a nice weekend. Cheers
Great vids! Not sure did i see any , but would be great if u once make tournament just for ur fans ( ppl who sub ) 🙂
33:14 missed … Ra7 trapping the queen
I love how you said "tripled pawns… tripled pawns!" Something about it made me giggle a little bit
33:06 Rh7 Wins the queen
Nooooooo move 20 against AkeX4 bishop to E6
37:15 bishop h5+ looked pretty good
Excellent, please make more videos like this! 🙂
