  1. "What are you going to do now that you are world chess champion?"
    "Now I'm answering questions…"
even the press conference is fun to watch lol

  2. Nepo's reaction was heart breaking man, but i am so impressed by ding liren, he was down 7 minutes on the clock and still he managed to convert the game! Absolutely amazing

  3. LETS GO! nepo relaxed thinking he had a draw in the bag and got owned in that last game

  4. Ding so deserved to win it, he carried himself like a true Champion all along. Form is temporary Class is permanent !

  5. I was cheering for Ian the whole time, but gosh, Ding played such amazing moves and had great courage. Props to him and Ian.

  6. So. Now we have an aloof Chinese as "world champion". I don't think FIDE is winning here. Entertaining match though.

  7. Congratulations to both players!!! Ding Liren made us all Asians proud! Great job Ding .. it's your destiny to become the World Champion!!!

  8. Incredible win. Ding's sportsmanship/appreciation for the situation is really notable. Congratulations to both of these legends!

  9. Lets hope nepo comes back again strong next year and again fights for the world chess championship!

  10. THIS IS HISTORY, AND MY COMMENT IS THERE ❤️❤️🇧🇷🇧🇷

  11. I dint know who ding was. But today he is my favourite sportsman. Chess was probably my 10th fav sport. Today its my 2nd ⚽️. Ding for king 👑

  12. Magnus win with rook knight and pawn vs queen of ian was a match

  13. Great match! Shame it will be overshadowed by the fact that Carlsen is better than both participents.

  14. It was an incredible game…
I feel happy for Ding…and so sorry for nepo it was a bullet at his head😔

  15. Ggs well done everyone and the team crazy matches nice job everyone!!!

  16. Wow, ding got frozen in game 7 bcz of time pressure and lost the winning position and den he played the most risky move Rg6 in the most important game of his life with 1 min remaining and continued playing precise moves. Unbelievable, salute to his mental strength which made him world champion

  17. Congrats Ding! It’s heartbreaking to see either of the player lose. But this is the match, one will win. Hopefully Ian will recover soon and get back stronger! And hope Ding will feel proud and keep going even further in his chess career! What a moment in history for China in chess

  18. Now if he wants feel like a real champion…he should call out Carlsen to challenge him for next yrs title or else step down.

  19. First congratulations to Ding Liren, the hours and sacrifice you have put into chess your entire life has paid off. Second, it just isn't as powerful without beating Magnus.

  20. And with that, can we get the longest DING CHILLING! chain. Ding! Ding! Ding!

  21. were in 2023 and they are not capable of stream a high quality press conference. Haajaaa

  22. Two spectacular players turning chess from boring to absolute world-class entertainment!!

  23. Am I the only one who noticed Ian's "lackadaisical" attitude during the game?

  24. Level bar, together with amazing commentary when Fabi came along, made this event an epic story for the ages.

  25. Congrats to the new Champ, Ding Liren! Also, unrestricted live chat is a mistake, lol; comments got cancerous quick.

  26. china should make a movie about this
from not even existing in the candidate to not winning the candidate and then becoming the WC
    just wow 👏

  27. When he played Rg6 everybody knew Ding wasn't messing around

  28. Nepo folded like origami. After he knocked the captured chess pieces on the ground you knew it was all over. Devastating moment. Congrats to Ding. Nakamura would’ve been WC if he didn’t underestimate Ding in the candidates. Nakamura didn’t realize how important the No.2 spot was. With Magnus declining to play for the crown, no.2 becomes eligible. Naka didn’t get first place and he didn’t think second place was that important. Too bad for the “professional streamer” 😐

  29. I really hope Ian tries again in the next championship because he can definitely win and he looked devastated. He deserves it, but he just blundered a lot in the last game.

  30. Congrats to Ding! Feel terrible for Nepo tho

  31. So happy for Ding, hope Ian wins the next one!!!

  32. Carlsen now motivated to challenge China as #1. Nepo gonna commit suicide. Ding finally gonna get laid somewhere in Hong Kong!

  33. Sometimes I wish press conferences after chess games will have better and more quality questions

  34. Nepomniachtchi will never be a world champion. He lacks the nerves.

  35. Sry but Ian deserved it more. Cus he actually won the candidates

  36. 43 ..Bb4 was a surprise as well. Fabi just said seconds before the move that 'Ding shouldn't get super ambitious here'. All the commentators were expecting a draw coming. I loved this game!!

  37. Happy that the guy with massive balls ended up winning the entire thing. That’s how it should be.

  38. quality of press conference = quality of whole match

  39. Ding Found Courage and Trust in his Heart! World Champion 2023!!!
