Wow, ding got frozen in game 7 bcz of time pressure and lost the winning position and den he played the most risky move Rg6 in the most important game of his life with 1 min remaining and continued playing precise moves. Unbelievable, salute to his mental strength which made him world champion

Nepo folded like origami. After he knocked the captured chess pieces on the ground you knew it was all over. Devastating moment. Congrats to Ding. Nakamura would’ve been WC if he didn’t underestimate Ding in the candidates. Nakamura didn’t realize how important the No.2 spot was. With Magnus declining to play for the crown, no.2 becomes eligible. Naka didn’t get first place and he didn’t think second place was that important. Too bad for the “professional streamer” 😐
I really hope Ian tries again in the next championship because he can definitely win and he looked devastated. He deserves it, but he just blundered a lot in the last game.
