This is a speed (bullet) chess tournament (Eastern Bullet Arena) I competed in on lichess.org while livestreaming on . Time controls are 1 minute per player.
I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly. Is Jerry Planning on becoming GM? cuz i feel like he deserves it… idk i suck at chess but he makes it look way too easy XD
An utterly glorious 4th game, to me at least! PositionalNESS!
at 16:21 if you moved Qh2, you could have won the White Queen.
So close to perfect, Jezzles. Just one annoying meager draw. 🙁
Also, at 59:50, you've won three games against ASKCHESS yet you only have 2 points against him. LiChess is glitching.
12:38 "Sneaky pawn variation" lol !
Boss on fire. loved
Jerry, have you considered using a tablet (like wacom) instead of mouse to play these really fast games? You get way more speed and precision, so it could make the last few seconds scramble a lot lot easier.
Jerry, do you ever get angry or nervous? Just kidding. Cheers from Brasil
at 16:21 there was qh2+ that would have won the queen
Awesome stuff man! At 24:35, how bout Bxe5 and Ne7+? That's where the silliness started. I actually find a low custom rating range on chess.com tactics trainer to be incredibly helpful for this stuff.
I learned from the penguin.
@45:49 you had Bxb1
Im impressed that you are able to comment while you are playing and winning.
Just discovered this channel. Thanks a lot. Keep it up. Would love to learn more about the game and you are helping me.
Jerry you're my Bob Ross of Chess. I watch you, I enjoy chess although I'm not very good, but I just listen to you play and talk and eventually fall asleep. If you wanna make my nights you could try and talk about how there are no mistakes but only happy accidents!
16:20 queen h2 T^T
Ha 45:49
" My opponent is going for my throat by the way " Jerry my favorite chess player
What kinda beast mode is that, man!! lol
Jerry "let's go for a queen exchange" Lastname
Hi. Howcome you don’t play in tournaments where players are closer to your rating? You’re usually way ahead of pretty much everyone in these tournaments (and single games) – even the tougher ones are usually 400 pints behind.
Are there no such tournaments or pairings or why is that?
26:46 im so CONFUSED!!
On 24:33 If Withe play 30:Bxe5 win a full piece. Black can't take because if 30:…,Bxe5 ; 31:Ne7+! attacking the rook. I'm ok?
I thought you going in the right direction at 16:21. Qh2 would win on the spot.
I watched some of your videos a few years back…how did you get to this insane score?? You were at 2100-2200? Omg 😀
I was yelling at the screen for you to move already… burned all that time and still pulled it off. The best!
Jerry, do you ever play bullet on your phone? How big a performance difference is there between using your thumb vs using the mouse?
Can someone help me understand something here. Jerry has mentioned on multiple occasions (like in his video of the first world chess championship match) that pushing c5 is a bad idea because it release tension on the opponents center allowing the e pawn to be free to move forward being that it no longer has a job to defend the d pawn anymore. Yet….Jerry often DOES push the c pawn and he justifies it by claiming that it's "for space". So which is it, is it a bad idea or a good idea…?
