  1. Enjoyed your analysis, though it seems not enough coverage of the Gukesh Hikaru game.

  2. Feel sad for Guccireza, I hope he get's back on the 2nd half.

  3. I have to give great respect to Daniel Naroditsky here. He's a great commentator and is very likable.

  4. Alireza was "picked" by Magnus as the greatest future hope, and the only one worth defending the WC title against. That's because Magnus is a liar and he really knew Alireza was someone he could always beat — very strong but in some sense unstable or positionally not as well grounded. Unlike especially Nepo, who scared him to death in the 2020 WC match causing him to resign the title when Nepo won the Candidates the second time.

The accuracy at the top level has gone to insane levels. A day or two ago, there was a game where both players were around 99%. The Ding – Nepo WC match was also of that nature, way above accuracy levels Carlsen has produced. What was good enough is no longer good enough. I don't know how the players produce such moves, whether it's natural or artificial, but it is now the norm at the top level.

  5. chess24, Wow, this made my day brighter! Thank you!

  6. 1:11:00 "he (Alireza) is spending half the time in the doctor's office getting checked for arthritis" — really? Sorry to hear that if true, I wish him good health.

  7. Indians are performing very well , great to see💪

  8. Alireza always disappoint in the candidates, while Nepo always winning..

  9. Indians are performing very well . Great to see prag and Gukesh fighting sprite . Kudos 👍

  10. When they say "I feel for the guy" (Firouzia), "my heart is breaking" and all this. If they passed MY board as an amateur would they gush with the same sentiments? Or would they just look at each other and roll their eyes?

  11. I love when Peter Leko thanks Narodisky’s confidence for calculating out Pragg’s endgame line for the win. I feel too often commentators rely on the eval to evaluate which side is winning rather than calculating out a concrete line. Perhaps Leko feels the same

  12. Me seeing when Prag *Drinks water*💀

  13. He got what he deserves. Karma is real!

  14. 1:37:55 idk if its nerves it feels like alireza just isn't that into the tournament anymore

Edit: man abasov is rly a strong defender. A few more years and he can take the crown from Hikaru?

  15. Firouzja resorted to all that chicanery to get to the candidates, for this ?

  16. In all the 8 candidates pragg seems to be the one who plays fearless and enjoys every move in the tournament. With his experience and skill levels I would be surprised if he does not qualify 😂

  17. 4:20:00 a double-exclam for Pragg's Nd7 🔥🔥🔥🔥
    Pragg OP❤❤

  18. Magnus says Kasparov is the best of all time… And Kasparov says it's Magnus… We have two greatest men of all time in chess, I guess!

  19. Kudos to commentary. These three are probably the best commentators out there.

  20. Nodirbek is missing in this tournament

  21. Man Abasov was so close to turning it around! Great Play regardless

  22. Thank you Danya for cool Tal story

  23. Heartbreaking for alireza? Why?
    Is he a baby?
Comeon comentaters this is professional chess tournament not a beauty contest😅
