  1. Can y’all have Anish stuff a sock in it once in a while?

  2. Somehow it is painful to see when Ding is trying to chose words for his press conference

  3. Ding doesn’t deserve the world championship with these many blunders

  4. How many WCC games Anish, Tania and Daniel played? I wonder why they don't invite people who actually played in the WCC and know what it takes to win at the highest level? Magnus, Vishy, Kasparov, Kramnick, Ivanchuk, etc? 🤔

  5. Open fight. Both boxers refuse to play in defense and prefer punching each other aggressively. After 3-4 such rounds, next rounds will proliferate with inaccuracies and empty swings compared with the defensive match, but will be more entertaining to watch.

  6. Anish Giri was awesome Wish him best for tournaments , I am a new big fan

  7. Ding is so likeable. I went into this game fully supporting Nepo but I am more 50/50 now. I think both players will be fantastic champions once this one of a kind world championship concludes.

  8. so basically Ding throw away the whole game by just not taking the rook on move 32. How can one of the top chess players in the world not see that taking the rook is winning when he has more than a enough time to calculate that a perpetual check is not possible?

  9. I think Ding is still feeling that gut-renching Game 7 loss.. I think the flood gates may have opened for Nepo especially with the White pieces next game…

  10. sometimes a missed win can be more demoralizing than an outright loss.

  11. Look at dickhead Ian shaking his head during the press conference while Ding was talking. He should've lost this game AND game 7. Very unfortunate for Ding

  12. Turning point for Ding. Ding should have won this game…if you don't win games you should win, you can't be world champ. Think Ding out thinks himself in certain positions because he's just too cautious of not losing…which isn't a winning strategy for any chess player.

  13. If you’re following this and find it boring then chess is not for you. This is the most epic world championship.

  14. One of the best world champion title matches I've ever seen. Emotional rollercoaster. I'm sure Ding still didn't mentally concede and will strike back.
Btw amazing bluff by Ian with the perpetual.

  15. we understand why king magnus didnt wanna play with these amatures.

  16. It's over. Ding's nerves have gotten the better of him. Nepo wins. It was a good run tho.

  17. Getting a draw as white may take a toll on Ding's mentality moving forward to the next matches.

  18. I am sure it's still far from over
I can see a ding victory coming in the later days.

  19. Notice how Ian blundered the moment Anish said "my anaconda".

  20. The interviewer at the end seems so rude to djng

  21. Ian was Brilliant in this game.
Queen h4 bluff 3:41:00 and knight sacrifice on f2 4:01:50 are just astonishing brilliant moves. Hopefully Ding can recover psychologically from that

  22. I feel like Dings issue is that he's looking for the best move in every position rather then just looking for a move that keeps him in a winning position

  23. Such a terrible Russian translator, you guys couldn’t afford to find someone a little more competent for the world chess championship?

  24. Isn’t Fabi supposed to be part of commentary team as well? Why is he not joining?

  25. I have an idea to de-fuse the tension of WC match. In regular tournaments, players get up and walk around to watch other players' games. This helps to relax them. Why don't we have another match along with the main match? For example, what if we had both men and women's championship at the same time? This would help the players to relax!

  26. did they find out about the prep leak during the game?

  27. I thought I was a procrastinator… Ding gives me a heart attack with his time controls

  28. Ian might be a very very good chess player, but seems to be a bit of an asshole outside of the board!

  29. Absolutely fascinating. Chess is the greatest strategy game…

  30. Chess is suppose to have been invented in India yet there is not a single indian guy competing in this tournament.
