With a score of 8.5/11, GM Farrukh Amonatov is the winner of the 1st Maharashtra International Open Grandmaster Chess Tournament 2022. He was tied with the same points as GM Aleksandrov Aleksej (2492) and GM Arjun Kalyan (2477) from India but was adjudged the winner due to better tie breaks.
In the interview, he talks about how familiar he is with Pune and how he enjoys each and every game. He also talks about how important it is to set targets and focus on them.
