  1. 2100 is still high level chess for me, I am nowhere nearly as strong. It was very instructive and I enjoyed it a lot. Would love to see more of your games in the future ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. A lowly 2100? Mate, I would be WRAPPED to hit 1500!

  3. Good stuff. Stay positive and have fun, that's what's most important for many chess players. It tarnishes the video if you're negative and a bad sport. There are content creators like gothamchess and hanging pawns that are so tough on themselves its tough to watch and I primarily choose not to because of this. Practice good sportsmanship and drink some tea like Eric Rosen. I appreciate the video. Keep it light, easy and enjoyable.

  4. Would be cool to see you do videos like this live! I used to enjoy watching poker players stream their tournaments but you have a better capacity for explaining what's happening.

  5. All your games was extremely awsome full of tatics and max puzzle rush! really enjoyed your games

  6. Playing a Woman IM 'squeeze your opponent's balls..'

  7. This is awesome ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ cover more of your games

  8. Well done on the finish! Hopefully you can sharpen up those tactics and go again!

  9. How many rated games have you played? What (and in what year) was your first rating? Thx for sharing ur games! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

  10. Actually watching you lose James encourages me I hate losing so much I procrastinate to even play sometimes I do win as well but the fear of losing is strong of course I want to play because I love chess so much just wish I could accept when I lose better but Iโ€™m steadily improving any which way

  11. GAME1: What about 13. … Nb8 with the idea of chasing the queen then going a5…; After 20. … Bb8 it seems he would still have to struggle to win…you can go h5 or chase the queen and then rook lift e6-h6…

  12. Doubling the Rooks Good tactic itโ€™s a go to move if Iโ€™ve got it like that definitely helps get things done offensively Iโ€™ve won games by doubling rooks but also lost because opponent doubled up playing blitz I did have a knight I shouldโ€™ve bought into the defensive mix but that was an after thought got checkmated instead what goes around comes around sometimes

  13. About to be mated but โ€˜so what โ€˜๐Ÿ˜‚ freakin computer

  14. Nice Win second Game thatโ€™s how it goes one move and you win or wrong move and opponent right back in it Good game your lady opponent played well also Glad you won tho ๐Ÿ˜Šโ™Ÿ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฏ

  15. You have good foresight which is an important asset to see as many moves ahead as you did in Game 4 which ended in Draw I felt you should have won that one

  16. Qf7 protects both rooks elementary Watson

  17. Queen perseveres Fantastic last game not always easy they make you work for it but Iโ€™d rather have the Queen advantage than a Knight Bishop and some pawns Assassin Queen ๐Ÿคฉโ™Ÿ๏ธ Good Games James Winning at Chess not an easy thing but feels so good when we do Have a Good day Thanks โ™Ÿ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’ฏ

  18. โ€œSqueeze your opponentโ€™s ballsโ€โ€ฆ.opponent is a 19yo girlโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜‚

  19. Very cool.. nice games with a few mistakes on both sides. ๐Ÿ˜‰ 50% is not a bad score at all, especially if you've been away from OTB chess for a while.

  20. According to your analysis who has more chances among Alireza and Gukesh to become future champ?

  21. Enjoyed this recap a lot mate. For us mere mortals this is more relatable content ๐Ÿ˜…

  22. Instructive bit of a behind-the-scenes. 4 stars out of 5 for dry humor. Also, I'd gratefully swap my low-level blunders for your high-level ones.

  23. More of this, pleaseโคโคโค

  24. You explain the games in such a remarkable way that it enhances the learning. Bravo! Takes a lot of courage to do videos like these but for recreational players, nothing could be better. Love this channel.

  25. Bro, I like your content ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

  26. James! Thank you so much for sharing your games. I love seeing how much you learn from your mistakes. It takes a lot of effort to go back over a game you're not proud of and try to learn from it, and I think you do that really well. I can learn a thing or two from seeing how you review your own games.
