It was the final round of the World Rapid Championships 2022 and Magnus Carlsen was in a must win situation. His opponent was the enterprising Iranian GM Parham Maghsoodloo. This was good news for Magnus as Parham never really plays drawish chess. When Carlsen opened with 1.e4, the Iranian GM responded back with the Sicilian. The game was exciting and led to a fascinating finish. Check out how this game, where the World Champion, who is famed for his positional and technical play, is an absolute monster when given a chance to attack!

IS IT PARHAM VS MAGSOODLOO OR MAGNUS VS CARLSEN
that was a charming commentary right there
https://youtu.be/g1gE3fGmWo0
I don't think I'll easily watch any chess game without Sagar's amusing commentary.
He is what Bill McLaren was for rugby, Ray Hudson for soccer and Geoffrey Boycott for cricket.
I could be wrong, but I never am so… does anybody else agree that based on position, Maghsoo would have gained tempo AND initiated a better attack without…. castling!! Of course, hindsight is…
I have a doubt can not in last move parham play bishop to d3
no speak pro
He looks very nervous.
Sagar is 🔥
{{{ extra gulab jamun for the editor }}}
Good commentary. Subbed.
is this llive commentary
The commentator is actually a better player than Magnus, but he prefers not to compete on the highest level.
Bro, I don't play chess at all. Maybe three times in my whole life and never in the last 30 years. I watch all your videos.
I am here only for your "face" in thumbnail
I'm at the point where it's zero fun watching a chess match without the fantastic commentary/analysis by Sagar!
چه استرسی داری 🎉
Can you make a video on improving openings ??
A cup of tea some snacks and chess game explain by sagar Shah a perfect evening.
"to continue the suffering" LOL. That's a brutally hilarious comment.
Quel talent Magnus Carlsen!
100th like
that was like a lesson from The Art of Attack in Chess
I am addicted to watching this with your fabulous commentry.
3:37 this shows you are a class commentator.
rh2 such a powerful move.
why always use the word destroys?
King h6 could be a move in the end
8:40 What a suffering for Maghoosool
Hi, is magsooooooooodlu considered a goat in chess?
That was brutality to the nth.
Such incredible commentary
I like Maghsoodloo – he will learn from this, he is an excellent player. Carlsen is a freak – I feel so lucky to be able to watch him play. Once again excellent commentary.
This is like and how my uncles and my brothers destroy me haha
Хороший урок. Надо будет папе показать. Он у меня начинающий шахматист.
