The 2023 FIDE World Cup takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan and featured 309 players, but only two remain as Magnus Carlsen fights 18-year-old Indian star, Pragg, for his first ever World Cup win. The top three players will also secure their place in the 2024 FIDE Candidates Tournament.

Last match was a hard one for me, I am equally a fan of Pragg and Fabiano! As much as I like Magnus as well, I'd really love to see Pragg win the world cup. But also it's the only major tournament Magnus has never won….and I'd like to see that too. Somehow all the outcomes are exciting, no matter who wins!
