Why is Harry the H pawn the only pawn with a name?😅😅😅
David is such a boring commentator. Dependent on his computer, speaking too much, analyzing primitive positions that he seems to struggle understanding. Doesnt see simpel tactics. Get in Naroditsky, Svidler or something. Please.
Allez allez les blancs et noirs de l'armada vachier lagravais !
God's gift to Chess <3
The match is over when Magnus says it's over!!
Magnus had other ideas!
Just GOAT things!!🎉
the legend magnus carlsen. he is just way better than everyone else in rapid and blitz( slightly better than hikaru in blitz). but when it comes to classical he is just way way ahead than no 2 in the world. genius stuff.
Magnus has 3 lives in each game and its true, just because you beat him in the opening and mid game , you still have to work hard to beat him in endgame
wow i cant belive hikaru is out
The more time you give me, the worse I play. Who am I? lol
Davids reaction at 3:11:58 is just epic.
I think what Nepo missed at 5:02:59 was Ke8 Qb8+ Kd7 Qg8. If Re7 then Kf6 Re8 Qf7+ Kd8 Qb7 wins. And if Ke7 after Qg8 then Qc8 Rg7 Qc7 Kf8 Qd8+ Kf7 Kf5 Rg1 Qc7+ Ke8 Qb1+ Kd7 Qa7+ picks up the rook 🙂
magnus is just unreal
51:47 all the commentators got it wrong. Its not the rook move but the night move that Giri played. 3 commentators with their engines still couldnt see this coming.
Wild that a super GM couldn't win Queen vs Rook endgame with like 30s + increment. I tried myself against stockfish and won (granted i didnt have 30s but im no super GM).
Wesely gave some of his lives to magnus carlsen 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
What happened at 5:04:48 if kings kills rook why it was missed
If any chess genius' can explain game at 5:04:48 seconds
I respect Tania's personality but her voice …😖 when will she get retired? 🙄
Just like any strong final boss when you think you have Magnus defeated he powers up and regains all his health lol
Magnus and his knight/rook endgames against Nepo… not as crazy but game four was like another game 6 nightmare
I was watching the last Magnus vs Ian game thinking "this guy is shameless, keeps playing on this completely lost position"… And then. Wow.
Ian in hotel ?
I didn't know Naka is that bad!
Simon is a legend
I'm so happy that Hikaru lost so badly.
💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞so fun games! and head scratching too..!!
If nepo cant win queen vs rook .
I would never mind losing up a 17 points of material to a 800
Q vs R can be tricky to convert , but I thought super GM know it very well. I remember Karjakin to convert it against Carlsen and he had very little time on clock too. Karjakin messed up couple of moves, ( it could have been even 3-fold repetiton there , but of course Carlsen did not call arbiter in mutual time trouble ) but then he corrected himself and finished it in style. It was OTB game .
Both Karjakin and Nepo are from Russian chess school, and they practice endgames very hard, even rare ones on GM level, but I perhaps Nepo missed some training sessions .
Poor hikaru
magnus says "main problem was my brain was not working"..haha
How do we know they are not using engine when playing or something else?
I wish tania just kept her mouth shut a bit more cuz she is really anoying
3:14:01 Magnus' reaction when he founds out he missed mate in 3, this is gold
3:12:34 Don't miss the moment Nepo's eyes go wide. 😳
3:14:00 …or the moment Magnus realizes what he missed.
