Praggnanandhaa takes on Hikaru Nakamura on his 18th birthday | FIDE World Cup 2023

Praggnanandhaa turned 18 years old on 10th of August 2023. He was up against Hikaru Nakamura in round 4. The first classical game between the two had ended in a draw. In the second one, whoever won would advance to round 5 of the event. Would Pragg be able to beat Nakamura and make a sparkling entry into adulthood (18 years!) Or would the experience of Nakamura triumph. Check out the game along with the commentary of IM Sagar Shah.

  12. 14:04 Praggu still a typical emotional kid … hard to believe he will be able to control his heartbeats in rapids and beat Hikaru…Hikaru is also little shaken after game one.. But still he is more stable between the two…when wits match, only better nerves win.
