1:52: "…different ways to get your bits out…" 😂😂
this was an amazing tourney
thank you for your videos ! I really like them a lot ! awsome ! ciao !
Vidit is such a nice guy. Gonna be awesome
Carlsen probably won't play
Predke is Russian, but obviously has German ancestors.
L'habit ne fait pas le moine👍
Back in the day when I used to play weekend tourneys we used to call this the swiss gambit – when you lose or draw your first round game your subsequent pairings are that little bit easier which enables you to storm the rest of the tournament.
😃
So Alireza needs to win FIDE Circuit or is his rating good enough to qualify now that Fabiano already qualified? What about the Moke; he’s out right?
Very nice game. The real interesting moves are which were not played and which looked playable !
Good! I like Vidit.
Everyone have a great week ahead!
On day one of the tournament, someone said in the chat on the livestream that Vidit is overrated and never features in the race for championships or gets invited to the big round-robin closed events. The comment did not age well.
Good stuff from both players… Congratulations to Vidit
Vidit proved that he is the best. Great job Vidit! It was long due. He was not performing better for the last 2 years. Finally, the lion is roaring.
Amazing game and a well-deserved victory by Vidit. He showed real character to come back after such a heart-breaking loss in the first round to play amazing chess throughout. So much incredible chess in this tournament.
Vidit has shown no consistency. Nothing to gloat about. Just lucky . A swallow does not make a winter. Data track record explains all. Trait of a shooting star
Grantz to Vivid! Great commentary Epic Chess, as always…
Today to standout one must do a Abdulsattorov, Hikaru Nakamura, Caruano, Magnus, Pragg, Erigasi, Gukesh . Otherwise nobody pays attention.. It's just an ego ride for these shooting stars hungry to fill their self esteem.I hope vidit to do better. But unfortunately his track record is dismal
We can now all say that Vidit did it.
